Hello all, I was hoping to seek some good advice from some of you AM veterans. I have put up an electric fence around my coy pond to deter a hungry heron who has systematically being feasting on my pond through the summer of 2015 and then excreting my digested fish on my patio...the fence was successful in keeping the feathered pterodactyl away...but only angered the bird into taking a large acidic dump on my V8 Vantage bonnet.

I've attached a few pictures, tried T-cutting it which has marginally worked, but as you can see is still visible from some angles.

I was recommended a chap called Paddy, an experienced detailer. What would you recommend?

I had a similar problem - a seagull left a huge load which baked on in 35 degree heat. T cut did not sort it but a pro machine polish did. I suggest you try that first.

Paddy will sort you mate - i'm sure a chunky polish will be all that is needed. Shame then not to do the whole car and seal it with GTechniq which will protect from acidic heronic fish poops!

Another recommendation for Paddy, he has worked his magic on a couple of my cars and produces some great results and also seconded on the shotgun approach to avoid further problems.

Hey folks, sorry I'm late.

I was actually just about to email you back. From the look of it, you could polish it out. To be fair though, without seeing it, you cant tell how far its eaten into the clear coat and if you can get everything out. Where are you located?

A couple of hundred really won't do the whole car though. You would get a protection detail for that.
