Looks a good trip, nice pictures. Love the McLaren cockernee
George as a man of engineering, you would be in awe of the technology and engineering that goes into this car. It is simply built for one purpose, without compromise (well except air con and electric seats perhaps ) and it delivers performance measured in warp factors and not MPH .The missus hates it though......
Without copying Nick's post, I can only say what an EPIC trip. Brittany Ferries are responsible for 800 miles and 2 days of motorway driving that are best forgotten, but the rest was awesome. It was a team effort and no one person did more or less to make the trip as good as it was.
Let's do it all again in 2 years, with less motorway and more hooning

Indeed, I adore the Mclaren. I prefer the 12C to the 650S too as it looks a cleaner design imo. One day I'd love to add a 12C Spider to the garage The missus hates it though......
So....
9 cars left the UK and 9 cars returned
Combined mileage covered - Around 21000m
Problems - 1x puncture, 1x door module reset (fuse removed and refitted ),4x Engine fault lights came on, two within sight of Le Shuttle (CTRL-ALT-DEL worked everytime)and a few bits of trim dropping off a car we won't mention
Fine Wine consumption - Staggering
"safety" beer consumption - Excessive - There currently may be a shortage through out our route and most hotels we stayed in ran out !!
Times that The Clique motto of "We wait for no-one" was implemented - Less than normal
On the spot speeding tickets - NONE !!!!
Speed cameras activated ooppss - We will wait and see
Upset French drivers - A few
Laughs and banter - PRICELESS - What a trip !!!

I'm up for that and have a few routes we can use Let's do it all again in 2 years, with less motorway and more hooning
That trip looks Epic (is that OK to use )
I recognise a fair few of those routes
Not too surprised at this one!

Nothing fell off, it was ripped from the bottom of the car over a junction that sent the car into the air . The high kerb at the garage removed the rest . We all returned, relatively un-scathed, except Tracy who is now in rehab for nerves and a drinking disorder. They believe the 2 things are connected and has something to do with spending 7 days in a McLaren with a bloke that "don't stop talking"
So I am sure the first question on everyone's mind is what is faster, A Citroen C15D van or a DBS???
