Hi Guys,
Sounds that you had a good drive.

Probably the best 10 minutes video I saw for a long time! The C15D driver is really going for it. It will be interesting to see if he has a posted on youtube his recording from his phone.

Was Lotto the car ahead of the C15D?
Bonjour Nicolas mon ami - Hope you and your family are well

Yes it was me - Myself and Nick were the ONLY cars to manage to get past our friend in the C15....Just sayin'

I note the title that Cockers has given the video is C15D vs DBS rolleyes .....Maybe C15D vs DBS being held up by DB9V would have been more appropriate hehe

either way it was a hoot...We couldn't stop laughing for quite a while after arriving at our Chateau.

Know that road well driving
Shame you guys didn't have more time
Near the north end of D900 is the Col de la Bonnette claimed as the highest "paved" pass in Europe

South West side are Verdon Gorges where Clarkson raced the rock climber/base jumper in the red RS4 saloon the Route des Crete over there is mainly one way with some fantastic views and twisties
Seriously worth making and effort this one!

Both EPIC and worth a detour
IMHO both better than D900

Already 90% planned a 10 day tour for next year with some absolutely mental routes in it including the REAL pass where the bus spins out in the origonal Italian Job smile

Hate to think what this cost.

I spend a fortune doing it on a budget. This looked no expense spared. Glad you all enjoyed it.

Would be great to see more of these posts.

Excellent trip !
Last time we took the N202 and dropped down to Nice, also a fabulous ribbon of tarmac.
I always find northern France depressing by comparison.
Well done chaps.

So I am sure the first question on everyone's mind is what is faster, A Citroen C15D van or a DBS???

That was excellent. Looks like a great trip - My plan this year was to do the Historique then Mille Miglia and back for the F1 - but only ended up having enough time for the MM.

hehe

Just the two DBSV's biggrin

A bit silly really seeing that the cars will spend most of their lives in sunny England not the Côte d'Azur banghead
