I never really understood why MikeyK banged on...

Until our recent trip to the Monaco Historic I had absolutely no interest in drop tops. However Mrs T insisted we take her DB9V and I was in no position to argue. After all we were off to the South of France where the sun would be shining.
The twisties in The Alps and The Pyrenees were not ideal for the '9. The last time I experienced that kind of understeer was in an XR2
BUT the noise bouncing off the mountains and the sun beaming down on my bonce actually made for a fantastic road trip. I started to get what MikeyK was banging on about. Problem was I yearned for the handling of my DBS.
We got home on the Wednesday having had an awesome 8 days away.
Thursday morning I get a text from a fellow tourist and PHer telling me a car had come to market. Anyone who has met me will know that my DBS Manual was an out and out keeper to the extent it would be for the kids when I am long since gone.
My DBS is now sold to another fellow PHer and today I collected this
It has one of these too
A one owner car with FSH, 23,000 miles and one of only seven on the planet
Special thanks to:-
Mike and Ade at BR for getting out to do the PPI within 12 working hours.
John and Austin at AustinOwen for standing by the deal and fending off the endless offer to gazump.
I hope the kids appreciate it.
