2 weeks after putting down a deposit finally picking up my v8v today :-)

Unfortunately business got in the way and dragged me off for over week, so no time to get excited, but now on the day still can't quite believe it.

It's been a long car journey through life trying everything but an Aston, as I knew this was the destination. So thanks lotus, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar - it was fun. However, don't think we will be coming back

Updates with pictures later

Enjoy the experience but as above no pictures or it never happened, also get your name down for Burghley so you show off your new P&J to everyone.

Congratulations Wayne. There is no other car that gives you such a marvellous feeling of ownership.
You'll be amazed by how many people will wave and give you thumbs up. You very rarely have to wait to be let of a junction.
Many of your friends will be asking you about it and want a ride.
There can't be many better motoring feelings that thinking 'Shall I take the Aston today?'
Have fun

First day update.

Arrived late thanks to m4 traffic just to add to the anticipation

HR Owen did a great job preparing it with all the small marks removed.

First journey 2 miles to pick daughter up from the railway station "how will I recognise you Dad", "you will, you will"

Then off out into winchcomb and a drive round Cleeve. Past the Prescott hill climb where a few ferraris past us - and a special Alpine in rally blue.

Rest of the day taking family members round " the loop", feeling pretty pleased with myself.

Finally sat down to post some pictures and failure to work out how to do it from phone, so will get it sorted when back at home.
