Anyone got one ,if so how does it compare to a Vantage S ?
You don't see many about or up for sale , are they considered a good buy or a keep away from model ?
I might be wrong but isn't it basically a Vantage S without the carbon body work and some of the other options that are standard on an S.You don't see many about or up for sale , are they considered a good buy or a keep away from model ?
Basically a Vantage spec but mechanicals of an S. Came in a few halo colours such as Alloro Green and yellow. What I liked.
I could be completely wrong.
I've had my new N340 for a month now but haven't driven the S. Mine is a manual 6 speed car with the light weight seats. I find it fast and rides very well with good steering. It doesn't have the carbon front or rear spoiler these are plastic/ABS. It's not as quick as my previous V12 and its new car so should be quicker with a few miles on it.

Once you see a Vantage with the CF splitter and diffuser though you kind of want it!

Though expensive, you can add these CF parts to an N430 / GT (for us Americans). But you can't add the manual to the V8VS, at least not here they come in auto shift only. Even though auto shift is the preferred way to go for the majority of buyers. Dealers told me 6 speeds are a tough sell, more and more people don't know how to drive them.Once you see a Vantage with the CF splitter and diffuser though you kind of want it!
I for one went for the GT, and saved $50,000.

other than the exterior weird colors that imo makes it more race than classy elegant which i guess i can do a half decent wrap job on without disassembly. the carbon seats seem way more rough than the plushy leather onesI like it
thoughts ?

I have a n430 manual. Drove a few Sportshifts, Manual is far better. Fab car, love it !
Opposite for me.But regarding previous Q, the N430 is a slightly reduced-spec S which was lower cost than an S when new.
But that spec was purely cosmetic and mechanically they are the same car.
Trim-wise, the N430 had various cant rail and lipstick themes. Some work real nice. I don’t think full leather was standard, but quite a few were optioned-up with this. The seat and door card stitch pattern is different.
The splitter and diffuser are cf on the S as standard. Plastic on the N430 but optional. Makes zero odds to driving.
I think that in reality, value for both should now be very similar as they are so close.

I did look round for quite a while before finding mine. Noted that there seems to be a premium for the 430 over an 'S' but really depends on the spec. Mine has the carbon fibre sports seats and I find them excellent.
Those seats (and the B&O in a Vantage) would make for a premium in any model. Lovely things to have, I’m sure!Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
