When I met my wife to be on holiday my best efforts at making a good impression were somewhat thwarted by my friends telling her that I drove a red Porsche ( which was true) with the number plate So Cool which was not true. This was nearly the end of the start of something. In fact it was not the end. It was not the beginning of the end. It was the end of the beginning.
So,do tell.......what happened.
How did the beginning end ?
Was the end of the beginning a new beginning,or did it end before it began ?

Drac, it's always nice to seek a little reassurance in decision making, but the reality is you'll never please this bunch. There are the Bond hater, bling haters, misspelling haters and the hate anything you do haters.

I'd just do it and enjoy. It's your car, you've no doubt worked very hard to get it and should be able to stick whatever plate you would like on it.

Ignore the bullies on here...... wavey
Yep. I'm with bincenzo. In addition, this ph AM forum is occasionally not the best advert for Aston ownership. I've met wonderful people via the other forums (ferrari, McLaren, supercar General etc), far less judgemental and just plain normal - perhaps ask them what they think ;-)

I can't speak for the other forums but to be fair I have met a lot of decent people who post on this one. You will always get one or two keyboard warriors who spoil it but generally it is not too bad. Might change a bit now with the new DBS gang coming on board

I'd go with AML V - it's your top choice, nice and short, means something to car people. Then you can move on and drive the thing!

I have read through the posts on this topic and fail to see any bullying and certainly no hatred.
Drac asked for opinions and that's what he got.
As is normal on this forum there was a little harmless tongue in cheek banter but I fail to see any bullying.

I clearly need to get a grip if Jockers is feeling sorry for me. My post was merely my way of saying 'just do what you want'. No genuine accusation of hatred or bullying. Although I do get 'beer bullied' by a certain DBSV owner on here.....

Thank you for your clarification and I agree "just do what you want".
As long,of course,it doesn't involve putting on a number plate that suggests you are ...
1) A James Bond wannabe
2) A secret agent
3) A bling merchant
4) A person with a small appendage laugh

It's Ok guys, I don't feel bullied. Actually it would invite being bullied to go to the pub more often. beer

I just wanted some feedback. Its better than receiving it on a garage forecourt when I'm filling with petrol.

AML V was always my top choice and that's the way I'm going to go.

Surprisingly not tempted, I've already got CLT on my Elise and the office girls at work think its for Clit. I suppose I could have P5NIS and V5GINA as the pair to go with my CLT.

Or to top it off, how about BELLNDgetmecoat

I'd take it if it weren't for my end being less bell shaped and more gherkin. Is this giving too much away?
