Nexus 6P screen repair

Morning all,

I have a 6P which is great, however my daughter managed to grab it and drop it on the flags by the fireplace, the screen is black and cracked However it still unlocks by the fingerprint sensor, which I suppose is a good sign.

Anyone had one repaired? would be good to get a sense of whether I'm going to get reamed, will try to call Google on Monday

If you have house insurance or maybe insurance with your bank, you can call them to see if they can send it off for repair? With my bank, I can claim twice in 12 months by paying a £35 excess. Has saved me on both occasions.

I used http://www.getitrepaired.co.uk and thought they were superb.

Pricey, but they sent a box to your door for collection, and had it back within a couple of days
