Don't know what happened but Avinalarf managed to get past the careers on Wednesday and ended up in the lounge where he created this surreal thread:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Fortunately I think we got away with it, nobody realised he was from the Aston forum. He didn't mention his ladyboys either, that would have given the game away wink

I guess what happened was you DB9 owners who are supposed to make sure he takes his Dried Frog pills were distracted by the latest Saga brochure and a new line in beige cardigans (apparently!). Anyway, he managed to duck past you so can you take more care next time please smile

I saw it as well. Didn't want to make any comments as it might look like I knew him.

Glad you lot enjoyed my Topic and true to form as I was avinalarf.
I do sometimes stray onto other forums on PH giving the chance for other contributors to enjoy my erudite and apposite World View whilst at the same time avinalarf.
Surprised none of you picked up on the runting stags thread in the Lounge.
p.s. Steve just for the record it's carers not careers.
A carer is someone that looks after me,a career is something you may aspire to.
Spell check is not always your best friend.

Jackman is currently fully engaged on the NP&E forum where he is giving wise council on one of the many brexit threads. Fortunately he's managing to hold his own (whistle) and doesn't need our help yet smile

I told you, they were all engaged looking at new pipes and slippers etc to notice you'd got out.... Good job us Vantage owners have time to trawl other forums just in case!

(NB -I always like your other threads actually smile )

Lol, some of them take it far too seriously don't they!

I can imagine that Junkers, Merkel et al are busy reading PH forums just to get suggestions and ideas on how to run Germany and the EU.... rolleyes

She will be saying to her Hubby (if she has one!) "Mein Gott, the boys on PH are upset, ve will have to guard our lawn in case we get any frozen Sausage hammered in!"

well if I was it wouldn't necessarily make me a bad person of course! smile

However, I am just a thick racist northerner so will you not use words like "erudite" and "apposite" please as I don't know what they mean wink

Well thank you for that instruction, I am afraid my fingers can't type as well as my mind thinks they can.

And aspire?... na, as I said I'm from the North,we leave aspirations to you southerners and just live off your tax pounds then shaft your EU dreams because we don't understand what it's all about..... smile

In retrospect my comment was not apposite to the topic and I shall withdraw it immediately.

I hear that the leader of your homeland, having been shown the rulebook and the door in Brussels, is now making approaches to Eire. Could be a very smart move, to relocate the domicile of Edinburgh, to a rented office in Dublin. It has worked out extremely well for many who have already done so, including several global internet and technology companies. The licenses for "Our oil", could be invoiced from Dublin, then send the revenue on to RBS in Bermuda.

And there's me thinking you and her would make a lovely couple,at least you wouldn't have to wear your elevator shoes.
I know it's not PC to say but she always reminds me of Jimmy Krankie.
Having said that, like or loathe her, she's a feisty lady who fights her corner and is not afraid to dirty her hands.

She is an opportunist and a very frightened one at that.
