what are peoples thoughts on the perfect colour for the dbs coupe? are there any no nos colour wise?
There really isn't a lot of choice. There are a couple of Mako Blue Volante's but all the coupes tend to be the standard colours. Black is a complete PITA to keep clean but stunning when it is yes

Perfect is Aston Martin Racing Green. However, any green will do nicely, except perhaps Viridian. Of course, the problem is finding one amongst the sea of black, gray and silver. So, as the poster above said, you don't have much choice even though Aston has a myriad of colors to choose from.

Did they wrap the front parking sensors? I presume it doesn't affect their operation?

Yes, both the front and rear sensors were covered. It has no detrimental effect on them.

I had a DBS manual coupe 10.75 model year in Quantum delivered in May 2010. Regreably sold it late 2010 to some lucky person. Was advised last month that it was also one of 7 in that model year (rear seating, b&o, new style DT wheels, etc) according to AMOC. Remember when I bought it having a debate with one dealer who tried all they could to convince me to go auto for "resale value" which still makes me smile. Apparently the early manuals were unofficially more powerful than the auto. Those in the know, know wink
