Sorry, can't make it, going to Portsmouth at the weekend
But would love to make any future get togethers as I'm just down the road in Ealing
No probs my friend. Ealing is a really nice place - my friend works down there. But would love to make any future get togethers as I'm just down the road in Ealing
I need to start making a list of Aston owners in London so I can contact you all whenever an event is about to take place...!

Please note....I do not drive fast......I find circa 43 mph to be quite exhilarating.
There are several reasons for this...I have a Volante thus.....
1) I don't like to mess up my hair
2) It gives my female fans a chance to see me and swoon.
3) I get scared easily.

I am at Lords so unfortunately am unable to make it, but would be keen for the next one definitely.
Though my nickname with the Maserati lot was Captain Slow!

Haha, that's the great thing about the Aston: you can have so much fun driving it slowish even with that great soundtrack! Though my nickname with the Maserati lot was Captain Slow!

It was good to meet up with Nick, Dave and Nijius on Sunday morning. I can confirm Nijius's Vanquish is absolutely stunning!!, probably the best Vanquish I've ever seen, with every conceivable extra. We also got to look around the McLaren and I found myself thinking I wanted one (urgently), the only problem being I don't trust myself not to drive it too fast. I don't think I could restrict myself to anywhere near legal limits in what is basically a racing car. I can see myself moving up to a Vanquish at some point though.
Thanks for organising the get together Nijius.
Photo attached, terrible quality, class broken on phone camera. Guys, did you get any good photos? Would be interested to see your efforts.
Best

Had a great morning out driving around on the wrong side of the Thames with our squadron of AM's. Only issue was trying to get out of the city and getting caught at a couple of traffic lights. When you don't know your way around North London, and you suddenly become the pace car it is potentially a recipe for disaster (oops, sorry about the wrong turn chaps!!!!). Full mixture of driving, a bit of dual carriageway, bit off A & B-Road a stop at an AM Dealership and interesting short tunnel run with a roundabout at either end so it would have been rude not to do a few laps!!!!
All done under the sunny skies
Have to agree with Ed, the Vanquish looks absolutely stunning in the flesh (well err, Carbon). Because of the design of the integrated spoiler, you don't appreciate how wide the cars are until you are following one going in London traffic going head-to-head with an oncoming bus
Very interesting following a V8V, V12V and a Vanquish, as each has it's own distinctive soundtrack.
The McLaren is also a head turner in a different way, and complement each other. What a great predicament to be in,......."just nipping out to the shops for some milk, which car shall I take!"
Looking forward to next month
Dave
PS. Like you Ed, I was straight on the internet looking at Vanquish's
