I looked at my 2009 V8V. I bought it new, so I know it's never been damaged and has never had any paintwork done. There is overspray similar to that on your car under the bonnet support struts. I also found a stray piece of masking tape stuck to the inner wing, though not where it is on your car and not in a place that would have been masked for painting. The sticker you mentioned, if it's near the brake fluid reservoir, is a warning to clean the cap before removing it. The panel fit on my car is pretty much perfect, and there is no variation side to side.
