Hi Guys,

I have been asked to try and rally a dozen cars to attend a James Bond themed Black Tie Ball in aid of Sue Ryder's Thorpe Hall Hospice in Peterborough.

The Ball takes place on the evening of Saturday the 24th of September and we need the cars in place in the Courtyard between 6.30 pm and 8 pm please.

They are just there as a back ground setting for the evenings theme so that guests could be invited to take photo's all under the security teams watchful eye as they pass by.

If you can help this very good cause by sparing an evening please let me know by putting your name down on this thread or email me : edwind.cunningham@btinternet.com

Please note we are only there with the cars and not to attend the ball as that is already sold out.

Tea and Coffee will be available on arrival and if the interest is there my mate Mick one of your Burghley Stewards has offered to book tables for a social beer and dinner at the near by Fox and Hounds afterwards.

For all those that can offer some help here is the address,

THORPE HALL HOSPICE
THORPE ROAD
PETERBOROUGH
PE3 6LW

If anyone can magic up a DB5 that would be most appreciated in keeping with the evening and finally if you fancy being the star of the show please feel free to attend as JB himself dressed in your Tux.

Many thanks,I'll await the rush………biggrin

Ed.

Obviously the theme for September Ed.

A bit far away for us to join you but if there are any PHers down here in the southwest that would like to join other Aston owners on the evening before your event feel free to contact Alison. The Exeter Leukaemia Fund is close to my heart and they have helped me tremendously with my recent little health hiccup.

Hope you get really good support Ed - great way to raise funds for worthy causes smile

Well I've now had 6 kind volunteers so far but a few more would help the job nicely.

Can you help a worthy cause for a couple of hours,if so please let me know as it would be much appreciated.

I'm all ears

Well we have 7 cars in total now out of the maximum requirement of 12 so if anyone else can spare a couple of hours to assist with this I'm sure Mick
would appreciate it all the more.

He's bound to be buying a round down the pub………..beer

Come on let find a few more cars to show a bit of support for a very good cause………...thumbup

Its the bloody DB5 thats the hardest thing to find without doubt but we do appear to have a volunteer to get Tuxed up as a James Bond look alike…..bowtie

Mick's going as a Bond Villain,I think he said he's going as Blowjob or Oddfeld, well something like that.
