I am looking at getting back into AM ownership and was looking at the V12 but 12mpg over 100 miles seems bad.
I may wait to see if AM bring out any V8 Vantage specials before the new one arrives as not a fan of the DB11 Merc instrument interior, which I am sure will be part of the new Vantage.
I used to average 20mpg in my 4.7 Vantage and did not dip even when driving hard.
Depends on how and where you drive, of course. My V12V is averaging about 2 mpg lower than a previous V8VI may wait to see if AM bring out any V8 Vantage specials before the new one arrives as not a fan of the DB11 Merc instrument interior, which I am sure will be part of the new Vantage.

Can someone tell me where I find this information
Assuming you weren't joking (because after all - one must keep one's eyes on the road and only the road) then - its in the "Information Centre" where you normally see the digital speed readout. Accessed by pressing the turn stalk end button repeatedly.Going back in for another go with the newer demo this weekend at Wilmslow - keeping in mind inputs from others about getting the shifts right.
In the meantime - there's this.. I assume they are working on a feature for the 2017 MY cars.

..catches the wrong gear at 1:12?

Nice vid, thanks for posting, but what new feature are you referring to?http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-video/video-onboard-n...
I'm assuming this is part of a feature to come - don't really have any more info - so perhaps there will be more to the story?
Not sure if this video had them driving more than 7/10ths - not a very tight line on that GT-R - and a bit sloppy with the V12VSM. Keep in mind the Motor Trend feature showed quite a difference in the lap times - though that seemed to include a mighty drift by the V12VSM on the final turn...
Regardless its not like the V12VSM was blown away - which the GTR IS in all subjective ways

Sorry if I am just being dim here, but what is it that you are saying might be part of a feature to come? Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
