I agree, some of the V12SM 'specs' look like the option list was indeed filled out in an opticiens, so many are vile!
I wonder if they'll be a carbon edition that doesn't look like a dogs dinner.
All of the ex-demo cars on the used website have the Sport Plus Pack option with decals, which if picked then pretty much pre-sets both the interior and exterior to one of the limited choices. Decals are optional when ordering SP+, but I can see why the dealers were all tempted to tick the SP+ with decals box though for their demo cars to try to differentiate them. Interestingly dealers don't seem to have gone for SP+ on SSIII demo cars, but maybe there has just been few SSIII demo cars ordered since the manual was made available. It will be interesting to see how many subsequent orders go with both SP+ and decals. I didn't and clearly the Flugplatz car above didn't either, so there are at least two - but then neither of these cars are in understated colours/combos either.

Just an FYI for anybody thinking that the decals can be removed,,,,they are actually painted, so a hairdryer won't do it!!! Well it's taken forever but I finally got to see my car a few days ago. There are still a couple of finishing touches to complete it but it looks incredible. The spec took me forever to settle on but in the end I think it came out pretty well. Thanks to Stuart at AM Edinburgh for putting up with my endless changes and tinkering.
In terms of spec and options, I'll just say, it doesn't have black pedals or a red stitch at 12 on the steering wheel. Other than that, there's not much that isn't on it and I'm regretting not getting the stitch done.
It also sounds as good as it looks with the secondary cats gone. I can only imagine how good it's going to sound when I put Clive's remote switch on the exhaust valves as well.
Merry Christmas everybody. Cheers!

Absolutely stunning, congratulations!!!!!! What colour is that? Fire Red?
Have you had something done to the carbon? It looks different to normal or just the photo - a matt finish??
As for Clive’s switch - an essential part of the spec! The first thing I do is pick the remote up and unlock the fuse! When do you aim to get her on the road? Enjoy!

Thanks, I'm pretty chuffed with it.
The paint is Red Lion, seems like there's not a lot of it about. As always, the photos don't do it justice. It looks flat in some lights but it's metallic and there's a multitude of tones depending upon what angle you're looking at it.
All of the carbon inside and out, with the exception of the seats, is red with a satin finish. You can't get red carbon with a gloss finish anymore. I was worried if there was going to be enough contrast between the red carbon and red paint but there is and it's better in the flesh.

I can remember seeing a Red Lion V12V at Gaydon and it looked really, really good. The paint is Red Lion, seems like there's not a lot of it about. As always, the photos don't do it justice. Now you have said about the tinting then I can see the colour change but missed it before. Bet it looks brilliant on a bright sunny day - you certainly won’t be missed
