Well, AM Bristol have had a stock roadster in for just over a week, so not sure if that counts!
They have had it for sometime and were decidIng when I was there on the18/8 whether it was to be a demonstrator or held for stock. So much for cars only being built for customer orders IanV12VR said:

So much for cars only being built for customer orders What remains to be seen is if Bristol or any other dealer get a 2nd+ car for demo/stock purposes without a pre-sold customer order. This would be a breach of the info supplied to prospective customers, not that this would be the first time of course, but for now, nothing is amiss.

Collected mine this evening. Will post much better pictures tomorrow. I went for the Sport-Plus pack and a number of other options that use to be std features...
How are you getting on with the high centre console? Dealer reckons it gets in the way of the gearchange and recommends the lower one, but I personally much prefer the look of the high oneGettoff said:
The wheels are particularly nice in the grey, enough of a contrast to see the design without disappearing like black does.
So true. I thought exactly that when I saw the picture even though it was obviously taken in poor light. I love the V12VS wheels but wouldn't want them in matt black (as I'm 48) and don't think they look very good in silver. Problem solved. Now I just need to wait a couple of years for some like-minded individual to get bored of his V12VSM and sell it to me …….Vernor75 said:

Absolutely perfect. Take good care of it. If I return to the hill country after my extended stint here in the UK, will be looking for a V12VSM 12pack said:

Great video - many thanks for posting! http://www.topgear.com/videos/chris-harris-drives/...
Interesting thread over in the Porsche section too discussing it. Not so many posts so far, but so far the V12VSM well received over there too.

I've only put on a few miles but I'm not bothered by the high centre console. It may be down to how you sit in the car. I'm 6'2" and find the high centre console positioned perfectly. If you sit lower in the car, I could understand it being in the way. I too preferred the look of the high one which is why I optioned for it.AdamV12V said:
Can I ask is that the optional CF gearstick surround or the std colour or perhaps is the CF even std? I asked and was told the std colour is chrome/silver ie the same as the old V12V surround, but I have a suspicion that the CF might be std now ?
It was ordered and paid as an option. Not sure if they've made it std now. Here are a few more pics. The exterior CF door handles were a mistake I made on the order sheet and couldn't change in time. Otherwise, turned out as I hoped. I'm really enjoying the transmission, the tactile feel of the gear shift is fantastic. Still playing with the AMShift, need to drive it in anger before I voice an opinion. Car feels very poised on the road. Much better than my V12V. I also have a V12VS Roadster and the suspension tuning of this car feels even better than it. A lot more to discuss that can go into another thread. Now for pics.
With it's older sibling, a Ceramic Gray Roadster. This garage is a bit messy, forgive me!
Absolutely stunning car, congratulations. The anthracite wheels with the green is a great combination.
I'm going for the highline centre console as well, albeit with lightweight seats, which I believe was the combination that some people felt might be awkward. Personally when I sat in the lightweights I didn't think it would be an issue as there's not much throw on the gear lever anyway.
Your comments on the suspension are interesting. Much more poised was probably what I was trying to say but less eloquently! Have you tried it in track yet?
Congrats again!

Wow! What a trio of cars. Many congratulations. So if the new one is "Aston Green" and in the photos doesn't look as dark as your original V12V, what colour is the V12V pictured on the previous page of this thread?
C997 - Regarding the the high line console. Not quite the same but my SP10 obviously has the high line console, has lightweight seats and is fine and I'm only 5'7''. I'm sure you will be happy with your choice. Chosen the colour yet?

Yep, I'm 100% sure I'm down to 5 potential colours. I've been trying to work out good combinations of colours, like the grey and yellow demo car colour scheme but now i'm thinking so many manufacturers are putting coloured highlights all over their cars maybe I should stick to a plain colour...this is hard work.

Same colour, likely just due to lighting, camera and a poor photographer. I keep the other car at a different location but I'll bring them together and take a picture. The paint code for both cars is the same, we'll see how well they mixed the paints to match.Jealous of the lightweight seats, they are not an option here in the States. If any of you in the UK or areas where lightweight seats may be ordered, I'd be interested in ordering "replacement" seats for your car. Would love to have them as our std seats are a bit too wide/bolstered for my preference.
