Hi Guys,

There is a 2013 China Grey V12 Vantage S on ebay that has been up for sale for some time, is it anyones on here or does anyone know anything about the car?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291737923813?_trksid=p20...

It is being advertised by a dealer on behalf of one of their customers, I have requested they send me some more information and I am hoping to go and view the car this week.

Is there anything I need to look out for as this is the first time I will be looking at an Aston.

Thanks in advance!

Stunning. Good price for the mileage too. I paid 98k at 14k miles for mine 12 months ago to give you an idea.
Love that colour, my favourite after Flugplatz wink

The deal breaker for me is the lack of carbon buckets & B&O.
If neither bother you, buy it before someone else does.

Report back!

Lovely colour, works well with black wheels.

It's a stunning looking car. Been on there for a while and I'm sure they've lowered the price in that time. Good luck!

Great colour combo. Always loved China Grey but thought it too dull with no accents and too lairy (for an Aston) with the bright yellow that the V12VSM press cars have gone with. With the black accents it looks the dogs parts. Am I right in thinking V12V values have been hammered recently or is this one just keenly priced?

Changed my mind about the price for a non AM dealer the price is strong as in the main network there are a couple around the same price. This below is a 2014 car.

Similar spec to my China Grey V12S although I would echo Northern Medias comment on the carbon lightweight seats.
I obviously love the colour - especially with the yellow highlights on calipers and inside - and the price looks low
relative to mileage ( depressingly so versus what I paid ! )
Don't think that the solid colour is any more durable in paint chip terms than an Aston metallic though - it isn't !

Again missing carbon buckets & B&O.
The seats at least (with alacantara wheel) are a must for me.
Actually this one is also missing the carbon interior option, the shame of it wink

Seems about right price-wise, it's a 2013, and manual cars of the same year are around that mark, give or take. Colour combo is of course down to personal preference and taste...

Thanks for the replies guys!

You have all echo'd my only main concern with the car which is the lack of Bucket seats. I'm sure I could live without B&O as long as it had the 700w system but really not sure if I would regret getting one without the Buckets.

Also I've seen there are a few Main Dealer approved used cars for similar money so again my head is saying I would be safer spending my money there. I went and had a look at a Skyfall Silver car at Brentwood AM today and it was great but again missing a few options that I think I need.

For my future reference what Carbon interior bits is this one missing please? Looks like it has the most interior carbon apart from the bucket seats of any I've seen for sale?

Thanks again!

I think Matt was talking about the similar one at AM Cheltenham. The car you originally posted isn't really missing any interior carbon bits. smile

Just to add my personal thoughts - I would agree either premium 700W or B&O audio are both fantastic, although B&O a nice bonus if you can get it, but the lack of bucket seats would be a deal breaker for me. They are EPIC and transform the feel of the car and I think they are actually more comfy on long journeys, however lots of people prefer the std sports seats so...

Still it's otherwise a great spec, in a great colour and at a great price and you might never find the 100% perfect car at a price you are happy with!

Yes sorry it was the second car that lacks the carbon interior.

Here's a few close up pics of mine.
I'm looking a extending the carbon down the center console.

Very nice but I still don't understand why the majority of V12VS's don't have lightweight seats, for me they are a must.

All depends what you prefer Sukh. I'm with you on the lightweights but if a seat gives you backache it's game over, the car has to go, especially if it's a GT designed to carry you across continents in comfort.

The lightweight seats were a bit of a concern for me having spent next to no time in a fixed back seat I was worried about how comfortable I would be without being able to fine tune my seating position. In the end no problem at all but I can understand how many would spec an adjustable seat just because that would be what they were used to, expensive mistake if you can't get on with a new £140,000 Vantage because of the seats.

I'd probably suggest that if you are of a certain age and unable to cope with a lightweight fixed seat that maybe a DB9 would be a better fit.
