B7 A4 cabin ventilation

Recently while driving my A4 Avant I am starting to experience dry eyes, this only happens after long journeys in the car. Having driven close on 90k miles in the car without problem I am wondering if there could be something up with the cabin ventilation?

Can anysome suggest or point me towards a way of checking everything is working kkay?
