So, I have a fairly large PH smiley on the back of the TVR, and it looks a bit like it should be there biggrin

It crossed my mind to put one on my recently acquired V8V, but I just can't bring myself to do it..... It's somehow just not right.... I know it's my choice, but was wondering what the consensus might be.... I mean I don't want to pitch up at an AMOC meet wearing Red Trousers if a PH smiley on her rump will ruin the image and make me look a fool wink

Are you serious ?
Next thing you'll be asking if go faster stripes are in order.
You might get away with a Help the Heroes sticker or a Henley VIP sticker.
I have an original Playboy Club sticker on my car but I don't think you can get one nowadays.

This is the only sticker I could bear to put on the car. So I did, albeit very discretely, because it earned it.

Just had an idea.
You could put the PH sticker on the arse of your shiney new red trousers.
Now that's a good look,might start a trend.

If you look at my post again you'll note it was tongue in cheek with a smiley at the end...

I find them a little gauche these days to be honest. Back at the start of PH when most people seemed to run TVR`s it was a bit of fun. For what was then perceived a select group of like minded petrolheads, but things have moved on and I dont think I personally would ever want to give a corporate body such as Haymarket free publicity.

I'm beginning to realise how the North / South devide works.
We have one geezer from the North East who needs to go to specsavers before attempting to park his Aston again.
As for bigscotty ,well .........I don't know where to begin.
As a proud Londoner and citizen of our Great Britain I am distressed that the social etiquette that once defined the gentleman owner of that very English of automobiles the Aston Martin has sadly declined.
Not only do we now have scruffy Herberts in droves but also others who deface their automobiles with hideous stickers and other forms of trivia.
Standards chaps......standards.

Both the above posts... clapclap

I don't think advertising Haymarket comes into it, the smiley doesn't even have PH on it... In all likelyhood road users who don't recognise a PH sticker will have no idea of what PH is, never mind the Haymarket connection.... It's not advertising, it's letting others (who know) know you're part of a special community where like minded peeps share experiences and help each other.... simples.... smile

Edited: when I said the above posts that didn't include avinalarf's hehe
