Haven't seen that episode, almost didn't bother as both 1 and 2 were a waste of an hour of my life. I'll give it a go based on comments here, but it's probably GT's last chance for this series.
I watched it last night. Personally I wouldn't bother, it's slightly better than the last 2 episodes in that they actually talk about a car but the rest of it is dire. I'm glad the st test track and the NASCAR driver didn't feature in this episode, that alone made it slightly better than the previous 2.

I'm with you George, that NASCAR driver is hateful. The reality is, it's light entertainment and not a true car show, so those expecting in depth reviews are better off on Youtube looking at Evo, Autosport and the like. Chris Harris' TG videos are getting much better now he's settled into the role, much more like his old self. GT is verging on complete tosh and it's actually only the Aston elements I've watched it for. Episode 2 was a complete car crash (s'cuse the pun), but do they care? Nope, they are raking it in.

It is indeed nothing more than light entertainment, CH's TG video channel on YouTube is the place to go for 'proper' tests (though the track tests of road cars for 90% of us are completely irrelevant!).
IMHO 'Cletus' on GT is the most pointless individual I've heard since Trumplethinskin!!!

I completely agree that the test track is complete shcensoredte and the NASCAR driver is a complete belcensorednd. This needs to be dropped immediately. I thought episode 1 was rather good though. The feature on the 918, P1 and La Ferrari was extremely well shot. I know CH had done the same previously, was quicker round the same track, was more informative and had a different placement order but CH&M did it well IMHO.

As for episode 2...complete car crash as Bins said. Not worth watching unless you want to see CH&M fulfill their boyhood dream of SAS army stuff...complete waste of time!

I think you're right, it's not a car show anymore. I also think it's been very Americanised compared to Top Gear was (although to be honest TG was pretty st towards the end too so it's not surprising the GT is too). Glad I only signed up to amazon prime with a free trial, I'd be disappointed had I paid for it! Also agree the Chris Harris videos are very good, best thing to watch for car info.
