So on my V8V just changing to 200 cell cats made a whole world of difference. It is perfect, steady cruise no difference really, on the throttle and it is sounds fantastic.

So what ways can you get similar with the V12? I've been reliably informed replacing the secondary cat with decats gets a good result. Anyone done this? Or done different?

Hi,

Yes - 2ndary decals are absolutely the way to go with the V12's. I've personally had 4 various Aston V12's done now - it's a 'must do' IMO. I feel they're best done with a remote switched Fuse22/15 - otherwise the cruise can be a bit tedious unfused - and with the valves fully open, it's a truly wonderful experience!

Costs should be in the range £700-800 fitted. Quicksilver and others are readily available and my MD actually suggested these for my original V12V in the first place . On the 12's they're only secondary, so no ECU problems and the like...

Enjoy!
