On a 2010 V12 Vantage. Hope to pick it up on Saturday, that's assuming I get a chance to take all the trick bits off of my V8 before then!
The crazy thing is, I'm yet to properly experience the power, the torque and noise of the V12. I've driven two, one a Sportshift and the other this manual, both times it was wet. Didn't stop me falling in love with this manual today though. The colour is just fantastic in the flesh, the changes on the curves as you move around the car are very special. It drove lovely, definitely prefer the manual box and the torque was great (even though I didn't get a chance to fully explore it)
Bought the car from Aston Martin Walton on Thames. Stewart was really helpful and very knowledgable about the cars. Would definitely consider using them in the future.
Now I've got to try and find time and for some of the parts, help, to remove all the bits from my V8 Roadster. Need to sell this lot to help fund this extravagance! James from DAE is going to see if he can squeeze me in next week. Big thanks to James for talking to me out of hours today, bit of a relief to know he may be able to help me in time.
So, the car. Number 566 (thanks Mako Phil for all the info and advice over the past couple of days). 21k on the clock, some great options including the B&O audio and special order paint (morning frost white)
Now starts the long wait for collection

Thanks guys. I can't wait to pick it up. And to be able to see what theses V12's are all about
Interesting what was said in Vantage magazine. Doesn't surprise me. What did surprise me was how different it felt to my V8, and that was without exploiting the V12? Same sports seats too. I wouldn't have said no to a car with the lightweights but would have preferred the sports with the heated option and side airbags.

Hi AstonExige
It's been said many times before. Once you've driven a V12V you're very likely to buy it if you've come from a V8.......
I bought it without getting a chance to "properly" drive it, in fact properly drive any V12V. I love my V8, the thing that was lacking was power and torque, so the V12V should be perfect. Even without being able to put my foot down it still felt special to drive, not sure what it was but came away thinking wow. Much more so than the Sportshift that I drove at Wilmslow. Anyway I can't wait. Not sure how you all manage to keep them with such low miles, I don't think I'll be able to stop driving it, and that's how I feel before I've experienced all 500+ bhp
Congrats....very smart colour
As I drove away from the dealer after buying my first V8V he said "I'll see you soon when you come back for a V12", 200 miles later in the V8 I was back test driving a V12 and after the first 30 seconds of the test drive I knew I would buy it. They are infinitely better than a V8, for me they are the perfect all round car....you'll love the car, enjoy

Snap!! I too placed a deposit on a 2010 V12 Vantage yesterday ! Mine is storm black, black leather interior and manual it also has a B&O sound system. I had my test drive a few days ago and guess what, it had been raining so gently does it. What a car though ! I am also waiting for next Saturday to pick it up from Lancaster at Cambridge.

Nice. That was one I was considering but it was just over my budget and my preference was a lighter colour this time around. Beautiful though. I'm Going need some tips on how best to set the B&O system up
I'm sure my son will enjoy setting up the B&O. It will be nice to have a sound system that actually works even if it is secondary to the sweet music of the V12 !!The one in my Ferrari 360 is rubbish !
