Congrats to you both - fantastic cars. As was for me last year, the time of year is great to get the best deal. But f you're on Corsas, it's going to be a bit of a wait before you get the full experience. Quite different from the V8's you've both come from. Though it seems contrary, for now put them in sport, and then shift to 3rd before you squeeze on the throttle.

A 'plain vanilla' manual V12V . So forget about the (traction and manual-shift limited)0-60 times and drag races.. Once you're going on the track between 40-140mph, it's a rocket.fastandcurious said:

Well done that man, stunning colour. Give me a bell when you want all the swirl marks and sanding marks taken out. As gorgeous as storm black is, it's very soft and a bast**d to keep in good condition. 
Congrats OP. They look mega in that colour. I was admiring a similar-spec car at AM Works last weekend and I must confess I'm seriously SERIOUSLY tempted to get one of these to replace my 599. Look forward to reading your ownership reports. BTW, all you existing owners out there...how good is the B&O system? I'm a bit of a B&O junkie but have never experienced one of their systems in a car.
PS. the 599 stereo is laughably bad but it does at least have a nice V12 tune to it!

I'm also a B&O freak, I have it in my car but to be honest I very rarely use it as I love the V12 soundtrack much more! B&O sound is fab though and I wouldn't do without it. I know I'm not sounding rational but the whole Aston experience isn't a rational one is it?
