Indeed, 5 exclusive colours, although all 5 of the V12 Zagato colours which were exclusive at the time are now available to order on all Astons!

I think my perfect Aston is the Vanquish Zagato in that red with the gold detailing as per their official launch model on the outside with the steering and drive of the V12VSM: manual 7-speed dog leg or 6-speed std I don't care!

Anyways I hope your friend enjoys it; many miles and smiles!

PS I did ask about 3 dealers in Australia to spec a V12VSM in that colour and overall Q design flourishes but alas Aston Martin won't import the manuals V12s !! (Otherwise the dealers all said they would have at least a dozen orders already!)

They wont let you spec Lava Red either.

I don't think there has ever been an Aston Zagato that I've liked (or at least liked more than the donor car), but this could be a first for me. Will be interested to see the OPs pics after the weekend.

Having seen it in the flesh last year (in the special white), I can confirm it looks as good close up as it does in the photos, with the exception of the interior Z stitching which looks as bad in the flesh as it does in the photos (although I'm sure it's marmite and some may love it)

I think it's one of the most beautiful creations, perhaps the most beautiful creation, to have come out of Gaydon for a long long time (excluding CC100 which may not be conventionally beautiful but is my ultimate dream modern Aston)
