V12V (six speed manual) vs V12VS (seven speed manual)

I've done some track time in both the V12V and a V12VS (paddle version), didn't really notice a difference in braking but then again I didn't drive these back-to-back or on the same track. With either car the brakes are extremely good, the stock pads don't last too long with track use but that's my only complaint. Like quench says, tires make a difference in braking capability so if you compare a car with fresh tires vs a car with older or different tires that could make a noticeable difference. Ultimately the tires are the limiting factor in braking.
I did a track day at Goodwood last year and drove my V12V and the V12VSM back to back. Same track, same conditions, same day, same driver. The brakes were a little better - but not night at day. I took the corners with the same conviction in my V12V and came out the other end alive. All good NeinFondue said:

Only if you specify it when ordering the car new. Even the aluminium fuel filler cap became an extra joinery80 said:
Ahh ok I was surprised to see mine had one tbh.wonder how much it was as a extra?
It was a £195 optional extra in 2017, so probably not a whole lot less in the early years. Id guess maybe £145?Either way, far too much for what it is when identical ones can be bought on ebay for more sensible money. That said in the overall cost of the car its nothing.
