I actually quite like this car. Would I buy it, no, my main reason being if I were to jump the Vanq interior would need quilted leather seats smile

I quite like it. Never understood why Porsches have such an amazing range of colours ( I have a couple of them), Ferrari have predominantly red, and a photo of an Aston gathering looks like black and white. The car can take the colours.

I call it "urine metallic" but I'm not sure that this is what BMW calls it...
Haha that reminded me of when Alfa used to do those paint jobs that looked one colour at one angle but then changed to a different colour at a different angle. Unfortunately the two colours were a light blue and a light metallic yellow. It meant that as you walked around the car this urine-yellow colour slowly spread over it. Always made me want to go for a pee smile

I prefer this myself, very understated, might have a word with the barista about getting a DB11 in the same livery jester

Sunburst yellow is a much nicer colour (just my personal opinion)

Not for me, no element of class showing through there. If I want a bright yellow car I'd buy a Ferrari as it suits it.
As the owner of a bright yellow Aston and having recieved nothing but praise from people with 'class' i feel obliged to categorise you as a clueless clungenugget.

smile

A lighthearted piece of banter.
I quite liked the reply, and thought it might apply to me as well, but did hope that clungenugget does not have a defined meaning.

My thoughts are that the Vantage looks good in most colours. Many of us liked the view of the Gaydon 'floating' Vantage, but I feel the Vanquish somehow requires a less bold colour choice.

EDIT
Oh dear, I have just looked at the definition, and it does not apply to me after all.
I am not female.
I am not stinky (nobody has mentioned that yet).
I am not a slut either.

I like it, but could never own an AM in that colour (I have a daglo yellow Caterham though smile).

It does, to me, highlight how a lighter colour really suits the Vanquish. There's a nice red one in the ads at the moment for a lot less money.

I'm firmly in the Aston's should be grey or black camp. (I do have a green and yellow tractor, and a really cool bright orange petrol strimmer though).

Vanqs are definitely growing on me, black or maybe that amazing new red on the Zagato version?

If I was speccing a V12VS from scratch for factory order, Yellow Tang would be one of my top three colours of choice. Cinnabar Orange & Volcano Red would be the others cool

But on a Vanquish, for me, no.

Ry , having spent a couple of hours with Simon earlier today and looking over the DB11 parked next to his office
I think your Pink choice will get rejected.
I have rechristened him " colours by Stanton ".

This is the problem with (some) aston owners. They seem all too quickly (whether they mean it or not) relate their car choices to class. Ferrari owners do not do this. Lambo owners do not do this. McLaren owners do not do this.

What's class? Having a pretentious claim to things only you consider to be of a higher order? class is irrelevant and pretentious.
