I'm not convinced mine is working. How much difference (if any) should you notice when switching from normal to stiff mode? I'm struggling to feel anything on my Virage even when pushing hard. Is there a fuse governing the shocks circuitery that could have blown?

Pretty significant difference.. At least on my DBS..

TBH, I find that because of the poor state of our roads, all it does is cause the car to go wide when pushing on through the corners.

Massive difference on prodrive Bilsteins - from more compliant than std AM 8 to track use only

Be aware that when the button isn't pressed the suspension is still switching (8 settings I think). The button is merely an override. With it pressed the car should be pretty firm on an uneven surface.

It's almost impossible to conciously press the button and think "ahh big difference" - this is the case on my DBS and my 997 turbo.

However, sit with it for a few minutes and you start noticing that the car is a lot shakier, you feel the minor road surface imperfections a LOT more through the car and wheel, like white lines etc.

Don't expect a night and day change when you press the button though.

^ really? My girlfriend can tell pretty much instantly from the passenger seat when I press it. It became a game on a roadtrip to see who could press it without the other noticing smile

Thanks for the replies. I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the Virage set up has 5 settings: when on Comfort they start on the softest and go up, and when on Sport they start on the stiffest and go down. But that's probably wrong. In any event, I'm dammed if I can tell the difference so will have them checked out at the next service.
