Naahhhh, those wheels look the bks compared to the crappy ones they put on the new DB11.

Love the car but i really dislike those wheels. Can't quite put my finger on why. They look like an afterthought.

In all previous Astons, the wheels sort of made sense. With this one, they feel a little... after market?

Congrats nonetheless. You must be well chuffed!

A combination of the wheels getting fancier in design and then this more recent obsession with two tone finishes does the cars no favours. I think that Vanquish S wheel would look significantly better as a single tone finish (it's cheap enough to do of course)

Think it's hard to beat some of the original wheels on DB9/Vantage and sportspack equivalents of same. Off the top of my head, it's only the V12V Zagato and the lightweight option wheel on V12S that I think stand up to the wheels of a few years ago

Having said all that, I think the two tone on the Vanquish Zagato wheel works quite effectively. But that's mainly because it subdues the effect of the overall fussiness of the design by bringing 5 slim silver spokes to the foreground.

In general terms, less is more when it comes to wheel design - a small number of well designed spokes, probably 5, twin spokes done right, perhaps with something of a curve to them - that's about all you want really

Its all about " Marmite" at the end of the day and personal choice. Love em or hate em.
