Hi all -

I have a 2007 Vantage Roadster, it's due a service so I'm just considering my options. Over the past couple of years I've taken the car to Amersham, Walton on Thames and more recently Chiltern Aston.

I was considering Chiltern again as they are pretty competitive but I'm slightly put off by the distance (I'm in Ascot). Does anyone have any recommendations for anywhere slightly closer to me?

Anyone used Aston Martin Care in Hartney Witney?

Many thanks in advance.

I've been to see AHM in Hartley Wintney but not used them. They seemed OK though.

I've used Spellbound in Farnham a few times and my car is booked in there at the start of March for its next service. They seem slightly cheaper than AHM when comparing prices.

My last service turned out expensive (leaking shocks) so let's see how they do this time.

Many thanks for the speedy reply, I'll drop Spellbound an email.

Worth checking out Chicane Classics (AM specialist) also very close to Hartley Witney.

I no longer have the Vantage, but they looked after it for me fun until March 2016.

Some nice restoration projects to drool over when there. Met a few other owners with mire modern cars who also used them for servicing.

Give them a call or pop down and have a chat with John Watson. Not the cheapest but will take great care of your car.

Cheers,
Nick

I'd second Spellbound http://www.spellboundcars.com/aston-martin-service... give Andrew Weller a call they've looked after my V12 Vantage since I've owned it. Always happy plus it's worth a look round to see what they have in the workshop or restoration area!

May be worth checking what you need doing against the now approved fixed price servicing options from main dealers. My recent service from AM Reading was cheaper than an earlier quoted price from Spellbound...

Did they do the same work? I called AM when I was deciding whether to take mine back to Spellbound and I was told Aston have 'brought the servicing inline with the newer models'. Which basically meant the service they quoted was simply oil and filter change - anything else was extra. So their basic price was slightly cheaper than Spellbound for me, but spellbound price included far more - and adding all that to the AM price virtually doubled it.
