I stood next to a couple of DB11's this week that were just a few feet away from a black Vanquish S with some red Q bits.

The Vanquish S is an emotional awesome shape and the DB11... isnt frown

DB11 looked long and skinny and the Vanquish S looked fat and mean smile

I think Im going to feel the same way when the new Vantage appears and is parked near a V12S.

I sure hope not. The Vantage will be a make or break for Aston Martin. Can't afford it not to be a home run. IMO.

You have very laudable emotional connection to the VH cars, that's fantastic & great pre-owned ones will be around for many years, BUT the future of the company is entirely dependent on the DB11, the new V8 Vantage et al. Let's hope that many potential owners (new & existing) look at the DB11 & the new breed of AMLs & think (as I do), wow that's not just a beautifully designed & engineered car but the technology inside it matches the exterior. From my perspective, the signs look extremely encouraging!

Should have bought a V12...

Was in Mayfair today - two DB11s within 500m of each other...they don't really do it...

Saw and heard (directly behind 5 yards or so) a Vanquish S fire up and bought lottery tickets on way home.

As you are inside the cars for most of the time (maybe not a cleaning Onyx black may take a while!) not that keen on DB11 leather as can be a bit OTT on the seats close up and have seen another 3 (at close range) 17 platers with base grainy leather. Much prefer my contemporary? obsidian leather/yellow stitching interior.
