V8V - no power from the 12v socket in the cabin

UPDATE - after checking fuses, I eventually found the reason for no power to the fag lighter - it had been disconnected

No idea why, other than the fact that it looks like it's permanently live on my car.

I only want it so I can power a phone cradle / charger so I might have to rig up a switch somewhere to cut the power, as I don't want the phone charger permanently live.

Still - it's another job done...
