Battery dies every night - Canbus? Electrical short? Help!!
Discussion
You have described being deprived of your car, as a direct consequence of a 9 month nightmare with an appointed main dealer.
With no resolution in sight, you have clearly been remarkably patient. It must be time to take this sorry saga to the very top.
Dr. Andy Palmer, CEO Aston Martin.
I think also contactable on Twitter. Andy@Aston.

Jon,
Do you think there is any other way to reach him than through twitter. Unfortunately despite my marketing background I am tweetless

I would do a polite 'Private & Confidential' typed letter.
I mentioned twitter, because recently there was a PH post by a person having some kind of difficulty. They contacted Dr. Palmer by twitter and later said that was their very first tweet. They certainly had a quick response, and I don't really know (not being a tweeter) but perhaps being a very public medium, slightly more pressure is exerted.
Good luck.
I have now heard of a canbus, but I won't mention it in the pub, just in case I am asked what it is.
Greetings from Southern California, so sorry to learn of your conundrum. FWIW, I received the following contact information in association with the NHTSA recall notice concerning the "Double Locking Feature on North American Vehicles".
Aston Martin The Americas
9920 Irvine Centre Drive, Irvine, California 92618-4357
Telephone: +1 949-379-3100 Facsimile: +1 949-379-3140
Hope this helps.
This is really sad; not only are you being deprived of the joys of using your machine, but, theoretically the car continues to depreciate in value. I'd seriously consider dropping the insurance. Talk about adding insult to injury! Tom
