It's not a British car.

Remind me which cars are made in Canada again please.
Plenty of cars are built in Canada, Chrysler 300, Charger, Dodge Magnum, Honda Civic, Honda Element Chev Impala, Pontiac Grand Prix, Ford F150, Buick Allure, Lexus RX330, Ford Crown Victoria, Chev Monte Carlo...
But I beleive you intended to say what car manufacurers are Canadian. In that case there are none, becuase they produced garbage that no one bought, just like Jaguar and Aston Martin etc. before they were all bought out.

I think you've mistaken being upset with being sarcastic? Like I said just like Americans. They don't get sarcasm either
Your comment somewhat lacked intelligent content and factual basis for your statement. How on earth can you compare it to a TVR? I've owned both and they are very different. All this bollox on here about Astons always breaking down. I've owned three and none of them have ever given me any trouble?
SO the bottom line is either add some value to this forum by adding a constructive intelligent argument against the V8 or get back to felling tree's. So my response was aimed at the same level as your good self.
kind regards
Shady

It WAS British but now it is owned by Ford, a US company.
Why so defensive when you hear the truth?
Im not defensive, just pointing out that your a tool and not a very useful one at that.
cya
Hey Guys.
Cut out the sarcasm. Hans has a good point, with a German engine the cars can't really be called British anymore, they just have British history which the marketing department obviously plays on.
Having said that, Hans does deserve a good kicking, for suggesting no one wanted the older Astons! For the record Hans, it's not that people didn't want them, they just couldn't afford them!
Fight on dudes.

PS - On another PH thread someone mentioned the new V8 Vantage is being shown on Fifth Gear tonight, so set the videos.

Perhaps you should take ac course in verbal communication.
Sarcasm is primarily expressed by tone of ones voice and very difficult if not impossible to tell from text.

“lacked intelligent content and factual basis”
The irony, some one of your caliber would surely miss the elephant in the room as well.
I was obviously referring to the ownership of the company and that like TVR it is not British.
Be sure to comprehend a post before you comment and make an arse of yourself.
Ford own/bankroll a British Company, hence Aston are British.
As for TVR, unless there is a Blackpool in Russia, I think you will find they are British as well.
I now understand why you were thrown off a tall building.....(think about it)....
I thought Canadians were meant to be a nice, pleasant friendly bunch ? Due to their simplicity, aye ??
Mind you, he's proved the simplicity part
