Having said that, Hans does deserve a good kicking, for suggesting no one wanted the older Astons! For the record Hans, it's not that people didn't want them, they just couldn't afford them!

No less than those that can afford a Ferrari for example, yet why are they still around going by your logic?

The reality is that they were sub-par automobiles for the price, thus no one bought them.

Ok, Ok, let's end the arguement......

What do you drive Hans ?

From your incessant ramblings about Aston, I am expecting it is something rather special ??

The mysteries of why someone in the late eighties would buy a Ferrari over a POW spec Vantage is something I'll never understand.

I think you've mistaken being upset with being sarcastic? Like I said just like Americans. They don't get sarcasm either

Perhaps you should take ac course in verbal communication.

Sarcasm is primarily expressed by tone of ones voice and very difficult if not impossible to tell from text.

shadytree said:

Your comment somewhat lacked intelligent content and factual basis for your statement. How on earth can you compare it to a TVR? I've owned both and they are very different.

All this bollox on here about Astons always breaking down. I've owned three and none of them have ever given me any trouble?
SO the bottom line is either add some value to this forum by adding a constructive intelligent argument against the V8 or get back to felling tree's. So my response was aimed at the same level as your good self.

“lacked intelligent content and factual basis”

The irony, some one of your caliber would surely miss the elephant in the room as well.

I was obviously referring to the ownership of the company and that like TVR it is not British.

Be sure to comprehend a post before you comment and make an arse of yourself.

Piffle

sarcasm is best experienced in wrtten for, as its more likely to stand the test of time and have people point at you and laughing for eternity at the closeness of your DNA to that of an ass.

Just because you didnt get it doesnt me it wasnt funny.
Us Brits actually have a sense of humour and the wit to service it with.

Hans I fully understand the basis of sarcasm in written text thanks, which if you read more in PH you would understand yourself (actually you probably wouldn't) Yes, I assumed wrongly on the basis of your post, BUT as =J= has already replied with the correct factual explanation nuff said there. The simplicity of you original comment still lacked sustance.... MOOSE BREATH!

A formerly British company.

As for TVR, unless there is a Blackpool in Russia, I think you will find they are British as well. [/quote]

So going by that thinking, the Chrysler 300 would be Canadian because it is built in Canada?

Mind you, he's proved the simplicity part

LOL

Rather he is doing a fine job of showing the ineptitude of your fine comprehension skills.

I was not referring to reliability, but rather ownership of the company.

Most asuming is how my initial comment threw you all into a fit.

If anything you have shown that Brits are a very insecure bunch with little wit sice understanding and putting a single sentence is beyond your scope.

No I think you have misunderstood..

WE DONT GIVE A TOSS WHAT YOU SAY

Feel free to continue to convince yourself we care, as its entertaining watching from here.

Oh one other thing, can you stop wearing silly checked shirts. We tend to reserve those sorts of patterns for picnic and dog bankets over here.

Though Im shocked that the internet has made it into the woods.

If you did not care you would never have responded to me. Nor anyone else would have for that matter.

BTW it was not my intent to piss anyone off or start a pissing match. It appears that Brits have sarcasm and the tempers to go as well.

Oh yeah, I see now, why I could not see you were referring to the 'ownership' of the company I do not know ?!?!!?

Made me laugh though, someone trying to come across all high and mighty that has named themselves after their favorite 'Die Hard' character.

When I worked with the Canadians I used to think they were a bit simple, had no sense of humour and had a massive sense of inferiority due to having a huge country and absolutely no influence in the world.

What a breath of fresh air your comments are Hans! (BTW that's sarcasm...in case it hasn't shown in written text) .

Sorry, but you were better in the Harry Potter films.

How about a fresh start and change your name to Severus Snape?
