As I endeared myself to so many forum members in the car park discussion I thought I ought to post some pics of my ride smile

I always say the same when people sometimes question as to why I don't have the clear rear lamps fitted.

Very nice Frank, just a shame that you have to have those front and back repeaters over your side of the pond, but you can get to loose the front plate in some states I hear, which makes them look a lot beter.

Thanks t1blk, smile The last time she had a professional detail was about 6 months ago and it didn't work out well for numerous reasons! Since then I've always done it myself using Autoglym when a deep clean has been needed, but usually using Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0. The NXT works really well on black cars and seems to make the paint look really deep and wet for about a month, and is pretty quick to apply. That's mainly responsible for the finish in the photos.....

....of course, you also have to watch where you park it wink

Yeah, the orange front side markers are pretty awful - but I don't mind the the red rear ones as they sort of fit in with the calipers and rear lights. Not having to have a front plate is a definite bonus, but It's offset by the awful contraption on the boot that mounts the rear license plate.......got to figure out how to get rid of that!

FatFrank. Wow, what a car. I love black 9's (I got one as well). I like the black grill, the mirrors are they DBS? mine don't look like that at all. Love the no number plate, what is the inside like? Any chance of a photo or 2?

AHHH, I just noticed the dechromed window surrounds, where did you get those ..... you got to tell me.

Would look so much better for having the grille and window surrounds in chrome, and the wheels in silver imo. Just looks too blingy/footballery in that guise. Loses all the class an Aston should have.

IMO if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything.
This is Fat Franks P&J so why upset him with bhy comments.
It's his car so let him express himself as he wishes.
