FatFrank. Wow, what a car. I love black 9's (I got one as well). I like the black grill, the mirrors are they DBS? mine don't look like that at all. Love the no number plate, what is the inside like? Any chance of a photo or 2?
AHHH, I just noticed the dechromed window surrounds, where did you get those ..... you got to tell me.
Hi Maverick, thanks for the kind words AHHH, I just noticed the dechromed window surrounds, where did you get those ..... you got to tell me.
I had the window surround made black with a real thin (0.3mm or even less rings a bell) vinyl wrap. This was done with the bright surround in situ on the car. Just make sure the piece you use is large and long enough to cover the whole window. The heat gun will wrap it tight, then you can trim it and tuck it under onto the backside pretty easily with some small and sharp tools. I actually had a guy do it for me that normally wraps or does racing graphics on whole cars -- only took him a couple of hours and is fully reversible if you want to revert back to chrome (ugh!)
The grill was done the same way with the same wrap, although I had to separate each individual bar from the grill, wrap them individually (without getting vinyl in the retaining grooves) reassemble the grill, and them fix the grill back in the car. No big deal really. I wish I'd figured that out originally before I spent a couple of weeks dicking around trying to fit a DBS carbon grill....
The interior is stock, Im not sure I've ever cleaned the interior let alone taken a picture of it!
The mirrors are factory for 09 MY - I believe?

Would look so much better for having the grille and window surrounds in chrome, and the wheels in silver imo. Just looks too blingy/footballery in that guise. Loses all the class an Aston should have.
IMO if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything.FF

This is Fat Franks P&J so why upset him with bhy comments.
It's his car so let him express himself as he wishes.
You again? I forgot how much of a you are. For some reason you seem to have a theory that no one should be allowed an opinion unless it's positive? If you post pictures up expect to have comments both positive and negative.IMO if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything.

Perhaps you should fk off to China or somewhere where they can control what you put

I think you are right, there should be positive and negative, the problem is that customising is very personal, one persons black car is another persons, "Ugg", car. When you berate someones custom car, it can be quite personal. My point is this.
Forum members are encouraged to post photos of their cars.
In that scenario I think it is discourteous for other members
to slag off that members car.
Now it is completely different if either you know the other member
or it was on a post that read.
"Dear George 29 here is a photo of my car,you don't know me
but I am very happy to have you slag off my car."
I obviously have a different approach to life than George.
I assure you I am no shrinking violet and enjoy a bit of friendly banter
but I do not think that dissing someone else's P&J is right.

...and here-in lay the problem, I agree with you because I too would not diss someone's P&J, but I also agree (In part) with George29 in that if people post pictures they should expect Neg feedback as well. I don't know George29, but I'm guessing he would post constructive neg feedback. I'm guessing that no one would put, "what a load of crap your car looks", because that would be just rude. There are some cars on this threat (and it is a long one), that I really don't like and wonder how it could be their P&J, when I consider it that bad, I just remain quiet.
