Lovely morning for a drive in The Peaks today. My SP10 looking as well as it performs after the full Paddy treatment and Paintshield film application last week. Thanks to both for a superb job thumbup

Thanks, I was told that every official dealership in UK was allocated one but not all took so potentially there could be less than 22 in the uk which is quite cool from a "uniqueness" point of view. Not sure how many others were allocated to other countries. To be honest I paid the minimum deposit as I wasn't sure how gimmicy it would be (not over the top at all in fact, quite subtle) when I went to see it but I loved it the second I saw it. Not alone because of the watch & other free stuff but because of the car itself. I never paid much attention to the db9 before and when I sat it this I couldn't understand why, the spectre silver paint is beautiful and the interior colours, dash from the vanquish and fluted leather seats and head liner have a 60's classic feel. Also the one-77 derived steering wheel is great to sit behind. And then there's the sound it makes!!

I think it looks great especially the colour and interior. Make sure you post a proper thread with full pics when you collect.

When I was at the factory they told me all were sold. My dealer has sold 4 that I am aware of and I believe 42 cars are RHD. I understand some Volantes may have gone to America but they formed part of the 150 total build. Well done Aston another 150 new cars sold and a fitting finale for the DB9.

Had an email this morning from my dealer saying they have #103 for sale. Maybe they are all allocated. But not sold.

Take it that photo wasn't taken today Justin!

Looking good with what I feel are the best wheels for a newer V8. Are your inners black or graphite?

Had a smashing visit to Newport Pagnell this morning thanks to Ed50. My son drove a Vanquish which made his day. I rather liked this at £8.5m - remind me again, how does crowd funding work? laugh

Ha! It was taken a couple of weeks ago, although we had a similar day today. Blue sky!

The inners are black, I am not sure I like the polished against the black, but worried that all black would be too much, and the wheel design would get lost in the arches. smile

My wheels were all silver, so glad I changed to gloss black inners, I think the contrast works really well smile

I'm also contemplating this. Has anyone had it done with standard V12 wheels? I think I have the diamond turned jobbies...

Chris.

I did this photoshoot with a PH member earlier this year, but just decided to do a little re-edit to this image:

Thats a gorgeous photo. If it were a photo of my car I'd have it made in to a large canvas for the garage.

Trawling through some old pictures of my car I came across this one. It was passed to me by the previous owner so I don't know when it was taken nor what's going on with the colouration but I know it pre-dates HDR. Not sure about the look of those tyres but be assured I replaced them as soon as I bought it. wink
