Lovely to see her back out after the major fettling. How is she running now Rich?
Needs to go back for a bit of minor fettling which I am told is to be expected after major fettling wink

My father and I attended the GT Scotland breakfast in a couple of our Astons this weekend. Weather was amazing! Sadly about 50yds before this pic was taken the road went from regular tar to a horrible repair section where the council just dumped tonnes of small stones on the surface for cars to drive over and force into the surface. It's a ridiculous method and nobody was happy about their pride and joy being peppered with these wee stones despite doing only 15mph!

James B - That's the normal method for New Zealand Roads, for the average Hilux or Landcruiser it makes no difference. Immediately after having had the sills of my Elise touched up, I had about 2 miles of it to get home, no choice I live on a peninsular.

I went as slow as I could. I'm not sure those following me were too impressed. Worst money I ever spent. (Well probably not, but I'm not divulging that in public.)

I am going to get stone guards for my Vantage because it really is a question of when, not if, in NZ.banghead

Stunning - nice to see Aston have had a go at making the steering wheel a bit sexier too.

My understanding is that the steering wheel isn't standard and that its out of a one-77? It certainly said that under optional extras.

Having google'd the one-77 steering wheel it clearly isn't the same, I also can't see the advert as it's been removed due to being sold.

Either way, it's not quite the same as the Vanquish but it's much better than the earlier DB9 wheels.

Burghley House certainly gave an ideal opportunity for scenic shots of the Aston!
