Hi V12BRY
Such a shame you're spoken for
Just have to make do with him indoors. He has his good points - he shares my passion for cars and let me indulge in one of the more affordable dream cars on my list.
Have I put my foot in it re colour? Is the burgundy your preferred colour? I really should be more diplomatic. Anyway I think it must be virtually impossible for a DB9 to be a bad colour. What do I know about colour choice - this is the person who said there was no way she wanted a particular colour on my current car, and what did I buy? And what do I now consider the best colour for the beast?
No worries about upsetting me! I hate red or burgundy on the car!
My favourite is a colour called Oyster Silver with Iron Ore Red interior, although I love the black too.
Still, having just realised you have an RS2, 'er indoors might need to be upgraded!!
Still waiting for delivery !!
I've seen it built in the factory, but they aren't releasing any customer cars yet. There have been a few small teathing problems with the first few cars and they are making 100% sure that everything is ok before they roll them out(which is fair enough)
I've waited two and half years so far , so another few weeks doesn't really matter. It's just very frustrating.
What's the phrase "All good things come to he who waits" ?
My motor in build at Gaydon.

I believe there has been a recall. I think only one car was out of the factory when the recall was issued.

Bugger! Does that mean it will not be ready to Le Mans?

It's very touch and go for Le Mans. It's currently sitting in 'CAL' , Customer Audit line. Final checks before releasing the car to the dealership. Fingers crossed it could be next week, which would be just in time for Le Mans.
Just seen the spec of the three Linn optional sound systems for the DB9.
128W standard, 250W and 950W. The 950W is as fitted standard in the Vanquish and certainly worth the extra pennies after a long wait. I read that one reviewer was reluctant to get out after turning off the engine because the sound system is so good.

Sorry to be anal, but the Vanquish has a 1300w LINN system as standard.
