Mark,
I'd like to add one thing with out the need of a supporting Fire Engine……
They sorted your issue and worked on late with a hiccup on a show car on Saturday Night,in fact Mike missed his Dinner at the George.
But on Sunday Morning well before 7 am Mike,Adrian and Martin were bright eyed and bushy tailed and cleaning off Blofeld and Jessica in the North Court Yard at Burghley.
They did themselves a power of good on Sunday and helped push the Charity pot up to where it now stands, close to 11 grand.
I'd like to publicly say to them all a very big thank you and to Adrian in particular who was the star of the show as he worked like a Trojan in considerable heat to fit 15 Switches
including the switch from hell on Dewi's Rapide whilst juggling with other bits and pieces all day long.
Well done guys take a bow………..
+1 I love my exhaust switch so thanks to Mike and the team for all their hard work on SundayI'd like to add one thing with out the need of a supporting Fire Engine……

Rear pad warning light came on so got new pads fitted, and the warning light is still on.
Apparently the sensor is worn through so needs changing at a cost of £200.
I figured that my pads will be good for a while now and I can check wear visually anyway, so don't really need the sensor to work. Just want the warning light to bugger off!

Those sensors are peanuts and they ought to have changed them when they did the pads if the light was on
Not sure if wearing through breaks the circuit or makes the circuit, either way you ought to be able link it out on the connector for the sensor

Makes sense, shame the garage didn't do something about it at the time but that is unfortunately how it goes sometimes.Apparently the sensor is worn through so needs changing at a cost of £200.

It makes the circuit (against the disc itself).matrignano said:
Hello, 2 quick questions please:
1) is it possible to disconnet the rear brake pad wear sensors?
Thanks!
Yes, just follow the lead out of the pad up to the white electrical connection (shown below). 1) is it possible to disconnet the rear brake pad wear sensors?
Thanks!
Pull apart.
Job done.
HOWEVER...
Why don't you do the job properly and just replace the sensor (£21.54 and about 10 minutes per corner).

Big thanks to Adrian at BR for his work in completing Project Mathis today with the fitment of some cool blue brake callipers. So thats the switchable exhaust upgrade to take it to 520bhp on demand with a higher rev limit - sounds like all hell has broken loose - plus whisper mode in addition to the standard DB9 profile, DBS spec 6-pot brakes, rear shear plate and some interior blue stitching.
Not sure what to do in next year's improvement plan. I'd like to keep it visually standard from the outside as i believe it has a classic look.
So maybe for the interior some Zagato style seats (not William's cup of tea i know but then I don't have a headlining option in a volante) together with some simple door card stitching in blue, carbon fibre ski slope, door handles and strakes, plus a move to the Michelin Supersports?
Can you retrofit the indicator strakes?
For extra performance i'm told the only engine upgrade remaining is either a top end overhaul/cam reprofile or a rebore to higher cc which is engine out 30 hours plus job?
Any suggestions for and against based on your experience?
Mike

I need some help, BR still have some kit of mine, and I need to be able to contact them to ensure I get it returned......do any of you BR close customers have a way of contacting them? I had a lot of work done on my car and the bits they took off I would like to recover....thanks in anticipation.
