Black DBX on a private plate heading west on the A13 around 12:30pm today. Stuck in the middle lane, after the accident at the Stanford-le-Hope bypass, in pouring rain, with the right hand indicator flashing for roughly three miles, before it finally pulled in left at the M25 exit. Well done.

Silver V8V coming through Savernake Forest between Marlborough and Burbage (Wiltshire). Flashed lights to acknowledge me coming the other way in my Quantum Silver (grey) DB9 yesterday. Not sure if it was anyone on here??

M5 Northbound this afternoon a silver DB5 convertible (C reg) and and a blue DB4 or 5 convertible. Hard to tell the difference from the back!
Beautiful, fabulous to see them out and being used (even if it was raining!)

Can be most annoying when driving in lane 1, especially if the speed is well below what would be expected. Need to move out not one, but two lanes for an overtake.

However, I might now be accused of also being a 'middle laner'.
Have now joined the huge number of other drivers, who are refusing to use the nearside lane on dumb (smart?) motorways.
The nearside lane is the hard shoulder, so should only be used by motorists in an emergency (and by oil protestors, who somehow have established their rights to walk on motorways).

A few years ago, the government knew that the 'extra running lane on the cheap' motorways, had become an unpopular subject and might lose votes. They therefore announced, that there would not be any more new Smart Motorways.
In the technical sense they were being truthful, but we subsequently realised as the openings continued, that all they had done was change the name to Digital Motorways.

Valkyrie driven on the highway from Milano toward Como for an event related to the Villa d'Este Concours d'Élégance, likely by the owner of the Milano dealership. Sadly not my picture, a friend sent it to me. It had Italian test plates.

Sorry Jon, I’ve only just seen your reply.

Tbh the driving in the middle lane didn’t bother me too much. It was the continual flashing of the right hand side indicator that was the problem. It was pouring down with rain, and as a result I was very reluctant to overtake. How can someone drive for almost three miles and not realise their indicator is still flashing? I guess perhaps it’s all the time spent interacting with the screen, or god forbid the driver had his AirPods in his ears. Who knows nowadays.
