Hi  Is there any margin in having an Aston spotted thread in a similar way that a number of other marque forums do? Graham

Just an idea! Forget Michael, he's just grumpy.  If you hadn't suggested it I was going to. Recently I have seen a number of Astons in my area and I often think I would like to know if they are PHers. Eg Silver V8V in Ruxley garden centre Sidcup last weekend getting a valet. I was in a Panda collecting plants so didn't have the nerve to introduce for fear of ridicule. Maybe someone on here. I think its a great idea, but then I am sociable, and nosey. The two Micheals are in agreement. I do 35k/yr in the Volvo and 9k/yr in the Aston. I'm lucky if a see and Aston in a week. The chances of it being on of us on here is pretty remote. No harm in trying though

Spotted Dark V8 Vantage coupe (Meteorite silver?). Reg X2 ___.
12.10pm today on A429 heading in the direction of Kemble.
I wasn't in my 9 so didnt wave!

Today i nearly crashed! Out in Surrey (Ripley area) when I see a silver (Lightening?) Vantage Roadster coming towards me. Considered not waving - as no other Aston ever does in Surrey, but thought better of it, waved and got a wave back! The shock nearly made me crash, that and taking my eyes off the road to look and check I wasn't mistaken.
If it was someone on here, you are a Gent, Sir

Spotted a dark DB7 Coupe on the A417 dir: Cirencester, between Ciren and the Fairford turnoff. Approx 2.15pm
I was heading towards Swindon on the other side so didnt get the reg.

Last night while out in my V8VR I saw what I believe was a Mako Blue V8VR - which I believe must be a custom order. Mine being Glacial Blue I know it wasn't that, and having seen 2 Mako V12Vs 2 weeks ago it looked very much like that.

DB9 Volante parked on Malmesbury High Street today at 12.10pm (with the roof down).
Looked like Meteorite Silver to me with the pretty unique reg of 17 H

Lovely black DB9 in The Lowry car park in Salford Quays last night...I was having a good nosey through the window when the owner walked up. "I own a V8 Vantage" sounded a bit lame even to me, as I had obviously got out of the OH's Rav4 parked next to it

Grey/Silver V8 Vantage coupe parked in Cirencester Old Bewery car park - there at 9.45 when we arrived and still there 10.20 when we left.Private Reg D1 SJH.
