I'm on the hunt for another set of tidy 16's to refurb in gold. The Sparcos are ok but not permanent.

Which RGs?

RG-I
RG-II
RG-D

I would love to get my hands on some RG-Ds.
However getting them in the right offsets for a MR2 is nigh on impossible.
Even if I could I would have to sell some body parts to fund the cost.

Sorry the Innovits aren't doing it for me, prefer thinish spokes thumbup

Think i will get the car plastidipped/wrapped as a priority anyway.

Advan RG's are certainly nice wheels! SSR's have some great designs but seem rare.

Reddevil, i see you're down for the first SE gathering in March.

Are you in Southend?

I'll be heading there from Romford, earlyish hopefully to avoid traffic.

This is my current one. Ignore the rev 1 front end, its a Rev 3 Turbo with pretty much all the basic supporting mods as well as some suspension tweeks etc. Running it on Skyline R32 GTS/GTR wheels so nicely staggered.

Has a tendency to kill turbo seals though which is annoying.

That's strange are you using genuine seals? Not had a problem with mine yet!

My Sonic Shadow has had some suspension work done:

BC coilovers with 4/6KG springs. Ride isn't too bad, and the handling is massively improved. Next piece of the puzzle:

Tyres getting fitted tomorrow morning biggrin

Indeed, James did those. Very good job considering how poor condition they were in, then I only paid £180 for them with tyres a few years ago.

They look awfully familiar... Do you have to run the fronts with spacers by any chance?

Oh and in answer to the original question, owned 3 but had one on long-term loan. The loaner was a UK NA MK1 where the inlet cam had skipped a tooth and it fuelled like crazy as a result. Hilarious flames out the back but no power.

L174YVV was my blue MK2 rev3 turbo, I was the first UK owner and had it for 6 years. Sold it to put a V8 in an RX7 and 3 (4?) years later I still haven't finished and some days wish I'd never started and stuck with the MR2, it was a really nice car
GJ03LML was a black facelifted MK3 with the SMG gearbox. Lovely to drive but the bottom end went
FA04URG is a sable grey facelifted MK3 which WhisperingWasp now owns (I think he posted on this thread earlier)

Nope, they are pretty much a perfect fit. Cant remember the exact offsets, but they are in the range of ET32-ET38. I think the front and rears are slightly different? Even the centre bore is correct biggrin

We definitely need a build thread on the RX7 wink
