I looked but could not find!

My wife has spotted the MK3 MR2 and loves the look of it, she has had an MGF before so I see the MR2 as a step in a slightly more reliable, more technological direction.

Any PH'ers have experience with them? I've never sat in one or driven one!

She fancies the 1.8 manual in the bright green colour, would be a 2000-2002 year car.

Any thoughts or input appreciated!!

Worth bearing in mind they have about 2 fagboxes worth of storage space. Compared to the Mk2 MR2 which had a boot big enough to fit a person in it, the Mk3 hardly the most practical of sports cars despite it's other more positive features.

I absoloutly love all the MKs of the MR2 and have had a MK1 myself. I have driven the MK3 and MK2 on many occasion and some of my close friends have them and I would say its only flaw is the small storage space but there are ways and means round that. I still plan on having one at some point. Am sure you will not regret it. Although I think I would get the MK2 first.

Go for a post 2004, it's more than worth the little extra in price.

Although not guaranteed to implode, the engines are proportionally a lot better. Just remember to check your oil weekly at a minimum.
