Zed Ed said: Rest easy your car is engineered and built by Subaru My BRZ just back from Litchfield; more power, more noise and nicely executed If the car remains low volume and rare, then that is fine with me; in fact last time I looked Subaru had only sold 1 SE spec BRZ Jesus that is exclusive! I will never be in a financial position to own a brand new car - but if I could I would be torn between a GT86/BRZ and an MX-5. I'll just have to hope one of you guys sells yours in 5 years time and I can buy it off you

So what sort of MPG are you guys getting, is it as good as advertised?
I really want one still but its too much for me, shame really as it ticks all the boxes! Couple of years..

I've only seen one so far, a bronze GT86 with some slightly naff wheels. I await the Subaru...

Olivera said: Sales so far have been piss poor. New registrations in 2012 (with some competitors): MX-5: 1,738 RCZ: 1,421 Boxster: 390 GT-86: 161 You have to factor in that the GT-86 has only been for sale for approx half the year so far, however halving the others sales numbers still results in GT-86 coming last. This is a pretty terrible sales figures for a car so hyped. The Boxster figures are low due to the old generation being phased out, I'd expect the new model to treble sales at least. As I predicted Toyota have f ked up badly due to overpricing the car. *cough* b ks! Where did you get those figures? According to Toyota they sold 979 GT86 July-September 2012 - click.

I haven't seen any GT's or BRZ's yet. I've seen three of those Hyundai Velosta Turbos though.

That's funny now I think of it. I've seen plenty of Velosters (which got s t reviews IIRC) and only one GT86 (which got rave reviews), which is rather odd.

Seen a few now, I really like them but the unusable rear seats mean it is a no go for now Anyone supercharged one yet?

I got mine on the 28th of last month. Black with leather seats and Touch & Go nav. No pictures to post though - in the two weeks since I got it, I have spent 4 days in Zimbabwe, and flew to the USA last Sunday for 3 weeks. Not happy!!

Only seen 3 so far. One leaving FoS, one in Scotland and one round the corner from me in Hampshire. I think the GT86 is great, ticks all the boxes for me. Might buy one as a daily driver in a few years after they've depreciated a chunk. Haven't driven one, but had a good root round one at Goodwood. Liked everything, from driving position to instruments to the GT86 badge itself...

Keethos said: Here's mine, going from a Clio 200 to this, a great alternative rather than just seeking out more power i.e. jumping up to a Megane 265, it's very similar to the Clio yet refreshingly different. Loved the Clio, loving the GT86!!! This is exactly the move I'm planning. Did your Clio have the cup chassis? How does the ride compare? How is everyone liking the piped engine sound? I wasn't a fan on my test drive.

Only seen 2. Both the Subaru version. One being driven by a Subaru dealer and the other I have seen a few times as it lives near me. Have a Toyota and Subaru dealer in my town so was expecting to see more.

Sounds great, goes better Nice. Can't wait to get either the BRZ/GT86. Will keep it long term so will probably be the first car I modify.
