As far as I can see That link takes you to used cars with warranty, is there something about extending the original warranty? I assumed that if they now offer an approved used scheme for the cars they sell - they will also sell the warranty standalone to current owners. Seems to be a logical business decision. They could invent a 118 point check that you need to pay for first before they deem you worthy. Now who would do a thing like that !!!!

Call Infinity uk call centre they will confirm it's not underwritten by Infinity however it should seem like the manufacturers product.
That's the same as most manufacturers extended warranty.BMW's is with Mondial.
The key issue is when your car needs work, Infiniti will handle the whole process, unlike something like Warranty Direct or Auto Protect where you have to go to the warranty company.
I will be happy with this when it is rolled out, let's hope it is soon.
My car is being serviced and having a grumble from the AC looked at, service is done but they haven't had approval to do the AC grumble yet - it has been over a week and its under warranty. Makes me think if it wasn't under the 3 year warranty what would it be like? Lexus would have swapped the entire HVAC by now ;o)
DSLiverpool, to give another side to the service provided by Infiniti, I have had a complete gearbox replaced by Infiniti following a weeks work of testing and sending data to Japan by ICR. The cost of this replacement (trade) was well over 9k. This was done FOC when my car was several months out of warranty as a gesture of goodwill (my car was purchased privately not through ICR) Similarity I have gad a new battery fitted, various software updates and diagnostics all outside of warranty and all provided as a gesture of goodwill.
After a shaky start with the brand I am very happy with the service I have experienced and certainly given my experiences dealing with BMW on warranty claims for cars actually in warranty I couldn't be more impressed with the way Infiniti have stood by their product.

I did put a smiley at the end - they collected the car from 60 miles away and are at great pains to deliver the best service they can, they just cant locate the rumble, I have a new Q70 on the path to use but as I am in love with our new electric car I haven't driven it - no complaints here. After a shaky start with the brand I am very happy with the service I have experienced and certainly given my experiences dealing with BMW on warranty claims for cars actually in warranty I couldn't be more impressed with the way Infiniti have stood by their product.

Spoke to Nicola this morning, she is tearing her hair out trying to get the final warranty details from Infiniti.

I can imagine. Visited Infiniti Hull today and even though the car I went to see is on the Approved Used website - advertised with all of the scheme's benefits, they told me that the 'official' warranty scheme isn't live yet - they did offer me a 2yr warranty but not the Infiniti backed one !cheerfulcharlie said:

Hull gave me the best car buying experience I have had, the boss even gave me his iPhone lead and it's the only used car I have never had to have work done to after collection, I can recommend hull 100% swerni said:

Anyone else got the remap and sports exhaust?
Have to say, even as a serial V8 owner, it sounds awesome.
Saw [and heard] you in Tesco Brooklands yesterday.Have to say, even as a serial V8 owner, it sounds awesome.
Assuming it was you, didn't have the plate on it, but how many orange FX50s with ICP on the back and very loud exhausts are there!?
