Anyone had any further updates on the much anticipated Infiniti warranty?
Spoke to Hull last week and its imminent however its a dealer network warranty its not Infinity backed as the Mondial is by BMW this is the dealers striking a deal with a 3rd party warranty company - I am stumped why Infinity cant / wont care for the cars in the UK.It does seem strange. I sent a link of the official Infiniti used car scheme that someone posted up on here to the DP at Reading following a chat I had with him a few weeks ago regarding the lack of progress on warranty, they had the site taken down quickly and I have heard nothing since so have renewed again with Readings third party warranty provider although they were unable to deal with me so I dealt direct.
As an aside, DSLiverpool, I would be interested to here your first impressions of your Leaf, ours arrives next Friday.

Yes Autoprotect. I paid around £350 for the year.
Interesting, have you ever had need to claim from them? They do seem to have an awful reputation, but if it is sponsored by or supported by ICR for Infiniti cars!
What type of cover does this give you, my understanding was that no wear and tear is covered (even Warranty Direct do for newish cars) and everything seems to be excluded due to being wear and tear with them.
Well with 6 months makers warranty left its time to say goodbye to the FX50, we are using our electric cars all the time now and I have ordered a Mustang for whenever that arrives maybe late 2015. Its been a great car the first car that has not needed any work at all - nothing except a cable tie on a pipe done at the service. Hope your all enjoying yours chaps.
Hey All - first post.
Have had my FX30D for 2.5 years (from new) and was reading the warranty posts with great interest as I find I'm at the sell or warranty stage.
I just spoke to Infiniti Stockport who confirmed that a new warranty scheme was imminent and was not a manufacturer official scheme but was Infiniti UK backed - not sure if help or confuses the discussion - but there it is.
If/when I hear more I'll post.
Cheers
Phil
