Chased up Infiniti Cars Reading again this morning as they still had not returned my calls.
Contact was again not available, I vented my feelings at the receptionist.
Surprise, within 3 minutes I had a call back.
However they were still not able to confirm anything about this supposed product, stating it was all still being worked on by Infiniti Hong Kong????
In my frustration I called Infiniti Hull as I have seen many good reports of their service.
Within 1 hour I have managed to get a full quotation for the Infiniti backed extended warranty, which mirrors the existing 3 year warranty. Hull advised that this is organised by Infiniti using Mafre and is now available.
Price is very competitive.
I was so impressed with the attitude of Hull, I may well switch my servicing as I do get up that way reasonably often.

At Goodwood I spoke to a PR guy who from his demeanour seemed in the know, I explained how I didnt want the car anymore as I dont need it but none of the UK dealers would make an offer - he said he would sort it, I may not be happy with the offer but at least its an offer.

Looks like its going to WBAC which is a shame for a car still under makers warranty but so far I cant get an offer from any dealer to take it - not a decent offer - no offer not even £1 so far.
I am having one last go calling them this week but if it has to go to WBAC what does it say for the dealers confidence in the brand.

Had a bid from Reading that was about £1k less than WBAC , on the basis one will full retail it and one will put it to auction it shows a poor faith in the brand but at least it's a bid, the supplying dealer didn't call neither did Stockport. Remember this is a Q70 facelift model it's pretty fresh.

It gets worse - My car says on the V5 - FX50 S Auto, they stopped making this in 2010 !! on the bill of sale its correct at FX50 S Premium which they will pay me £22,300 for - a FX 50 S Auto classed as a late registered car is £15k
I know its not a late reg car because my car has the QX70 grill and front end which they accept but we need the V5 correcting.
Never again will I deal with or have anything to do with this brand - the car is superb, everyone associated with it less so
