Thanks - I did have exactly that problem when I sold my 37 almost 2 years ago...!
Perhaps I am just daft going back for more - but I did love the car - and I will love it more in 5l V8 guise...
2010 car - what value?
No maker warranty, £11k tops and I wouldn't go near it! I would have another when the maker offers a warranty on such a complicated car.Perhaps I am just daft going back for more - but I did love the car - and I will love it more in 5l V8 guise...

Anyone else got the remap and sports exhaust?
Have to say, even as a serial V8 owner, it sounds awesome.
Saw [and heard] you in Tesco Brooklands yesterday.Have to say, even as a serial V8 owner, it sounds awesome.
Assuming it was you, didn't have the plate on it, but how many orange FX50s with ICP on the back and very loud exhausts are there!?
I used to have a FX37 , and looking to buy an FX50 right now... small world!
The orange looks awesome by the way - sounds great too!

Really? We Buy any Car saying they will pay £15k... I thought 18/19k was reasonable?swerni said:
£11k is bks, DS had a bad experience and has left him a little bitter as the dealers wouldn't buy it back off of him
True - here is what happened - check your V5"It gets worse - My car says on the V5 - FX50 S Auto, they stopped making this in 2010 !! on the bill of sale its correct at FX50 S Premium which they will pay me £22,300 for - a FX 50 S Auto classed as a late registered car is £15k
I know its not a late reg car because my car has the QX70 grill and front end which they accept but we need the V5 correcting.
Never again will I deal with or have anything to do with this brand - the car is superb, everyone associated with it less so"
yes - same happened to me - my 37 was registered with dvla as a 50... I had little help from Infiniti on that...
Swerni, I am literally around teh corner - in fact you let me out onto Parvis Rd 2 weeks ago, when you were turning in - thanks...! Come out your road, cross diagonally across at the letter box, and I am on the right hand side -

I am really stuck on what to do....
I have a 2010 FX 50 with under 25k miles offered at £18k... but it doesnt have a sunroof, and I really wanted the sunroof. Not sure now whether to go for it, or be patient and wait for another (preferably newer one with sunroof) to come up?
I know its a buyer's market for these things (which it shouldnt be), but the downside is being so rare, there arent that many available, especially in 5litre guise.

Its not a Premium S then, the option pack is a full pack inc radar cruise and lane departure (I bet it doesnt have that either) and no-one will give you anything for it, try it in WBAC - I stand by my earlier post its worth maybe £14k tops. Thanks DSLiverpool - appreciate the input. Actually, It is a 50 S.... but being 2010 the Premium S didnt have lane departue etc... think that came in 2011ish?
However, this is the first one that I have seen without a sunroof!
fwiw, i checked it on we buy any car (giving a worst case resale value as of today), and thatwas £15k... so suspect its truer value is around £17k?
I just want to try the 5l version. Its either a 2009 Cayenne GTS or this - and frankly, I found the Cayenne to look quite dated inside.

Hi and a belated congrats on the new car.
The drivers seat issue seems to be a design fault mine has had 2 seat subframes replaced under warranty and it still has a little play in it..
Has anyone bought the used car approved warranty recently? Reading still don't seem to know anything and Hull never got back to me.
Yes I purchased the 2 year warranty at £1200, through Infiniti Hull. The drivers seat issue seems to be a design fault mine has had 2 seat subframes replaced under warranty and it still has a little play in it..

Still loving the FX!
Bought it! Same car as the FX37 of course - but wow - the 5l lump and V8 really puts a smile on my face - first time I have bought the same model car twice.... Love it - just drives so well for an SUV - definitely underated! I may not be saying that however when it comes to selling - but hey-ho!

You should get the exhaust "looked at"
I know a good man if you're interested.
I may well do that Swerni - is it an expensive change? You should get the exhaust "looked at"

It depends on what I do next - I have just agreed the sale on my Cobra, and now need a new toy for the garage, so will sort that first, and then decide.
