As above and has any one else brought one, I have heard lots of talk about hard ride and road noise so if any one out there has any info that would be helpful, Thanks Tim,

I have a non nismo 370z GT and had an S2000 before it, so to me road noise isn't even noticed, but if you come from something more "GT esque" then you probably would, a lot. It's a firm ride, feels planted but not crashy like the s2000 was. The nismo is of course more hardcore, it wouldn't bother me but if your wanting comfort maybe not the right choice.

Think the Nissan dealer in Oxford may have a demo , worth phoning around and seeing

I have a normal GT 370z well the GT Edition which did get additional soundproofing over the earlier cars so road noise isnt an issue , personally I'm not sold on the Nismo , dont like the droopy front bumper but the back end is awesome.

Please buy a new one - someone needs to take that 36 month depreciation punch on the chin and yours looks like it's carved from granite.

What were the mods? I'm already eyeing a nismo shifter.

They are only small mods mate, 10mm hubcentric spacers on the back, I have removed the 370Z badge of the back and the red pin strips on the door mirrors, I have also fitted my C,G lock to my seat belt, Non of the mods had been done when I took the pics on here, Cheers Tim.

Have decided to keep mine 'as is'. Well, until I've been to the Goodwood FOS anyway and seen what's on offer on the Nismo stand...

Afternoon
Just ordered my 370z NISMO for September delivery.. It's a cracking car, certainly not a shrinking violet and there's a certain rawness about it which suits the looks perfectly. It's not to everyone's taste I know but when other manufacturers are erring on the side of subtlety, wide arches and a 'bit of wing' make a nice change..:0)

Really like 370z coupes. Have read a few things about the engine being a bit well, rough and not really liking to rev. Is that genuine or just car journo's trying to find faults? Apart from the fuel cost/tax I think the big Z is a car i'd consider swapping my S2000 for.

Have the coupe just now and shopping for a Nismo, test drove one and it's definitely a bit slicker. The gearboxes are definitely a bit "agricultural" if you've came from German machines previously.

AS Remal said, he didn't keep it long after that trip. He hated the gearbox and the tendancy for it to want to pull into every filling station we passed. (He was coming of the back of a VX 220 it wasn't an every day driver either, only a weekend toy)
